The Registered Nurse will work within a Neuro Medicine ICU, focusing on critically ill neurological patients requiring specialized nursing and medical care. The role involves providing direct patient care, utilizing critical thinking skills, and collaborating with the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to critically ill Neuro patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize strong critical thinking skills to address complex patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment used in the ICU setting.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (NY License ONLY).
- Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in an ICU acute care setting.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Telemetry experience.
- Demonstrated strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- EPIC experience in the same area/specialty within the last year.
Special Considerations:
- Must be aware of D/E/N rotating schedules.
- Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge duties per Unit Needs.
Scheduling:
- D/E/N Rotation.
- 36 hours per week.
