Salary: $37,440 - 52,000 per year Requirements:
- I am looking for candidates with a solid understanding of Windows operating systems from XP to 11, as well as Server 2008 to 2019. Proficiency in Active Directory, managing folder permissions and sharing/mapped drives, and Group Policy is essential. Familiarity with PowerShell and Command Prompt, along with Windows networking and DHCP services, is also required. Additionally, I expect you to have basic hardware troubleshooting skills, knowledge of RAID configurations, and experience with Hyper-V and VMware. Experience with Office 365, Entra AD, antivirus, endpoint detection and response, and spam filtering is important. A good grasp of Linux, MySQL/MS SQL, WSUS/WDS, as well as backup solutions including NAS and two-factor authentication, is necessary. You should also understand zone file records and have knowledge of IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, routing, and firewall rules. Familiarity with DHCP/DNS, SD-WAN, VPN/VPN tunneling, and wireless technologies is a must. Finally, the ability to run Cat6 cables when necessary is required.
Responsibilities: - As an IT Technician, you will provide technical support and assist in troubleshooting various IT-related issues. Your primary duties will involve ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and resolving technical difficulties for our team members. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining network infrastructure, managing server configurations, and ensuring data backup solutions are effective and reliable.
